This site will provide information on the programs and projects related to the "Lower Rio Grande Valley Water Resources and Conservation Act of 2000" and support activites under the project "Efficient Irrigation for Water Conservation in the Rio Grande Valley."
The Texas ET (Evapotranspiration) Network & Website reports daily weather summaries and irrigation water requirements for both turf and crops in Texas.
     

The School of Irrigation conducts research and educational programs supporting the Texas Irrigation Industry. It is administered through the Texas Agricultural Extension Service and the Agricultural Engineering Department at Texas A&M University.

     

The ITC website details the proposal to establish an Irrigation Technology Center for urban and agricultural irrigation to be located in the San Antonio area. ITC will test and certify irrigation products, developed efficiency and performance standards, and provide education and applied research services for the industry as well as consumers.
